"Is future energy supplies a scientific or a political problem?"
In this talk I would address how irrationally we address the energy question from an every day perspective. Technical solutions will be compared to changes in behavior and consumption patterns.
Talk of Prof. Hjörvarsson, Uppsala University, this Thursday (11.02) at 4:00 pm at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, building NB, floor 4, room 158.
MRD Workshop “Materials for Harsh Environments” und 7. Materialwissenschaftlicher Tag der Ruhr-Universität Bochum
12./13.November, Conference Center, Ruhr-Universität Bochum Directions
Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) is one of the research priorities at the RUB where it has strong tradition. It is based on a joint approach from engineering and science departments with the objective to contribute to a better understanding of basic and applied problems related to the use of materials in advanced technologies.
