IGSN-RDN-Conference 2012

Molecular Mechanisms of Synaptic Processing, Function and Dysfunction

On the 26th and 27th April, the IGSN in cooperation with the RDN held a conference entitled “Molecular Mechanisms of Synaptic Processing, Function and Dysfunction” where we were able to welcome fifteen renowned scientists from around the globe. Split into eight workgroups, these experts presented their latest findings on the molecular mechanisms of the brain to the students, who in turn had the possibility to converse with the guest speakers and display their own research at a poster presentation. About 100 students and guests attended the lectures, which provided a fascinating and interesting insight into the current state of research in this area of molecular neuroscience.
We would like to thank all participants for once again helping to make this conference such a stimulating and interesting occasion.
